Ogee Pendant Light
An Ogee is a double curve, resembling the letter S, formed by the union of a concave and a convex line.
This pendant light forms an ogee shaped inverted bowl with a gentle, curved piece cut out from each of the 12 sections of laser cut metal from which it is formed. These sections are bolted together with tiny nuts and bolts and it hangs from a ceiling rose and cable, creating an attractive interior feature. It has an Eastern, architectural feel and is particularly striking in the copper or brass materials. It can also be made from a mixture of the two (see photo).
These products are handmade and therefore each one is an individual artwork. They are British made and assembled by people, not machines. As a result they may not be perfect in the way a mass produced object is, but the irregularities are not faults, they are symbols of each piece's uniqueness. Available in Steel, Aluminium, Copper and Brass. For a combination of more than one metal, please contact us.
